salary + an uncapped commission structure + bonuses and incentives + benefits.
About the Role:
We’re on the hunt for an Account Manager to join our media sales team. You will join a
collaborative and supportive team of go getters who want to better our community and the
local economy by planning, executing and managing dynamic advertising campaigns to
achieve the objectives of your clients. The most successful Account Managers strive to not
only win clients but win FOR your clients.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Successfully prospect and secure new advertisers.
• Research, plan and build out media plans and presentations utilizing appropriate
traditional and new media tactics.
• Generate advertising sales revenue through the presentation of advertising
strategies for local and regional businesses.
• Quarterback advertising campaigns and work with promotions, production, traffic,
and on air and digital teams to execute and activate dynamite campaigns.
• Achieve and exceed set monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Is It You We’re Looking For?
• Minimum of 2 years in sales or media.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint – ESPECIALLY
POWERPOINT).
• Retail or customer focused experience with knowledge of traditional and digital
media tactics preferred.
• A people person, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• You are a born communicator and possess top notch presentation skills.
• You will be tech savvy, curious and quick to master programs, software, products
and new concepts.
• You’ll know what great customer service looks like and have a passion for helping
local businesses thrive.
• Strong personal motivation and organizational skills with an entrepreneurial spirit
• Work as a team player but also have the ability to self – start and work
autonomously.
• Must have your own vehicle with valid driver’s license and full insurance
